Queen's has been obligated to ensure that all of our public websites are "WCAG 2.0 AA" compliant by/since January 1, 2021. This is the standard adopted by the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA). Queen鈥檚 reports regularly to provincial regulators on our overall compliance with such standards.

Accessibility Hub
The Accessibility Hub is a central online resource to help members of the Queen's community meet their obligations to each other and under the AODA. This website offers many tutorials, including how-to information on how to make digital documents and websites accessible.
Siteimprove
Individuals who manage publicly accessible websites at Queen鈥檚 can access Siteimprove, an accessibility auditing service that can identify accessibility errors as well as spelling errors and broken links.
Sa11y
The WebPublish service includes the Sa11y icon on the bottom of the screen to show / hide accessibility errors and warnings. Sa11y is an open-source accessibility tool developed at Toronto Metropolitan University.
