Digital Marketing and Communications Governance Council

The first meeting of the Committee is planned for early 2025.

The Digital Marketing and Communications Governance Council will lead and oversee a digital engagement program to align how we engage with people online across all areas of the university. Our goal is to continuously improve digital experiences across Queen’s public-facing websites and strengthen the Queen’s presence online.​

The Council's responsibilities will includes:​

  • establishing priorities for improvements in our digital environment​

  • developing, monitoring, and promoting policies, guidelines, and standards for publishing content

  • identifying and managing risks, such as to service continuity, reputation, and legal compliance​

  • securing resources and supporting teams in achieving these goals

The Council will led by Michael Fraser (Vice Principal, University Relations) as chair and sponsored by University Relations. The group will include senior leaders from across campus.
