Science Rendezvous Kingston

Science Rendezvous Kingston  (SRK) is an annual science fair that brings together the Kingston community with local S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) experts and Queen鈥檚 researchers. SRK works with local museums, conservation groups, professional organizations, school boards, and other community partners to provide our visitors with high-quality, hands-on activities and promote public engagement in research.

Media Relations

Share your research findings or provide expert commentary in the news. University Relations  offers media training and supports researchers interested in promoting upcoming publications and recent discoveries or to become expert commentators.

Art of Research Photo Contest

The Art of Research  is an annual photo contest hosted by University Relations for Queen鈥檚 faculty, staff, students, and alumni to showcase their research, scholarly, and artistic work. The competition is aimed at providing a creative and accessible method of sharing and celebrating the ground-breaking research being done by current and past Queen鈥檚 community members.

The Conversation Canada

A daily independent online publication, delivering analysis and explanatory journalism from the academic and research community directly to the public. Queen鈥檚 has been a founding partner since 2017 with hundreds of Queen鈥檚 researchers sharing their research expertise in articles generating millions of reads globally. Researchers can write both timely and timeless articles and track their knowledge mobilization progress with a personalized analytics dashboard.
