A variety of groups internal and external to Queen's offer training opportunities for faculty, graduate students, and staff. Below, Research Services has summarized a set of training opportunities relevant to the conduct of research that are available to members of the Queen's community.

The Library offers a . The program includes several short "self-serve" modules that focus on publishing, managing research data, and managing your research profile.

Tools for Research @ 成人大片 (TRAQ) - Training

 is an e-submission system for research-related administrative processes (e.g., submitting a research grant; submitting ethics forms). The TRAQ unit offers in-person training, as well as online instructional videos and user manuals.

The Queen's Equity Office  offers an online learning module on accessibility (AODA suite), as well as in-person employment equity training.

成人大片 University International Centre

The  (QUIC) offers intercultural awareness training for both students and staff, as well as a certificate program.

Four Directions Indigenous Student Centre

Four Directions  provides Indigenous Cultural Safety training workshops to any Queen鈥檚 University student, staff, or faculty member and/or organization.

CORE Training (Human Subjects Research)

 consists of an series of online modules that serve as an introduction to the 2nd edition of the Tri-Council Policy Statement: Ethical Conduct for Research Involving Humans (TCPS-2). Participants who complete CORE receive a certificate of completion.

Animal Care

Animal Care  offers theoretical training (QACS 799 - Introduction to Animal Care), as well as practical workshops. All personnel involved with the use of animals in research must be trained in the principles and ethical issues of animal care and use.

Environmental Health & Safety

 offers a suite of training programs, including WHMIS, biosafety, radiation training, and first aid.
