The invests in the research tools and infrastructure required to support groundbreaking research programs across all disciplines, enhance and optimize research capacity of institutions, and provide social, health, environmental and/or economic benefits to Canadians.

We have received word that the CFI IF 2025 competition (call launching in Spring 2024) will allow each institution to submit one proposal outside of the institutional envelope with the primary field of research in Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH).

Given the complexity of these large-scale projects and the foundations required to support a CFI IF application, it is necessary for Queen鈥檚 to mobilize teams and align our funding envelope allocations to timely and competitive projects prior to the official launch of IF 2025.

SSH-focused researchers who are interested in learning more about the IF competition are encouraged to participate in this Information Session and Panel Discussion.
