Annual Meetings of the University Council

Annual General Meeting Dates

The University Council normally holds one annual general meeting (AGM) per year. 

The 2025 University Council AGM format will be as follows: 

  • October 10 (10:00 am - 11:30 am) University Council Virtual AGM: The 2025 AGM format will include formal governance items, such as Council Trustee and standing committee reports; and will feature a Keynote speaker.
  • November 7 (pm) & 8 (am) – University Council In-Person Retreat 
  • November 7 (5:30 pm - 7:30 pm) – Distinguished Service Awards: Inaugurated by the University Council in 1974, this award recognizes individuals who have made the University a better place through their extraordinary contributions. Nominations are now open. Councillors are encouraged to nominate and attend the celebration.
