Annual General Meeting Dates
The University Council normally holds one annual general meeting (AGM) per year.
The 2025 University Council AGM format will be as follows:
- October 10 (10:00 am - 11:30 am) University Council Virtual AGM: The 2025 AGM format will include formal governance items, such as Council Trustee and standing committee reports; and will feature a Keynote speaker.
- November 7 (pm) & 8 (am) – University Council In-Person Retreat
- November 7 (5:30 pm - 7:30 pm) – Distinguished Service Awards: Inaugurated by the University Council in 1974, this award recognizes individuals who have made the University a better place through their extraordinary contributions. Nominations are now open. Councillors are encouraged to nominate and attend the celebration.
