Well-managed research data is an international best practice and contributes to the reach and impact of research. Data management plans (DMPs) and data deposit are also increasingly required for funding applications or journal submissions. Queen鈥檚 has recently created an Institutional Research Data Management Strategy in response to the Tri-Agency鈥檚 RDM Policy released in March 2021. To support researchers in RDM best practices, the Library has an RDM Guide and also provides one-on-one or group consultations. This session will be led by the Data Services Coordinator at Queen鈥檚 Library, Alexandra Cooper, and cover key concepts and practices within RDM with the goal of familiarizing participants with what RDM is, what practices are encouraged or required within the institution and by the Tri-Council, and more.

成人大片 the Lecture: Growing up in the shadow of The End of History and the supposed triumph of western democracy, it seemed that liberalism was stable, inevitable and perhaps even permanent. But this declaration turned out to be premature. This lecture surveys our modern relationship to liberalism and its promise, and interrogates how the social and political institutions tasked with protecting and reinforcing liberalism have come up short.

成人大片 the Speaker: Elamin Abdelmahmoud is a culture writer for BuzzFeed News and host of CBC鈥檚 pop culture show Pop Chat, and author of the bestselling memoir Son of Elsewhere. He was a founding co-host of the CBC Politics podcast Party Lines, and he is a contributor to The National鈥檚 At Issue panel. His work has appeared in Rolling Stone, the Globe and Mail, and others. When he gets a chance, he writes bad tweets.
