Professor Pugh teaches undergraduate and graduate courses on German language and literature and an undergraduate course on European fascism.
Professor Pugh is the author of Dialectic of Love: Platonism in Schiller's Aesthetics (Montreal/Kingston: McGill-成人大片 Press, 1996) and Schiller鈥檚 Early Dramas: A Critical History. Series: Literary Criticism in Perspective. Rochester, NY: Camden House, 2000, as well as numerous articles on 18th century German literature, Weimar Classicism and Heinrich Heine.
