Short-term programs are a great way to have an international experience and gain intercultural awareness. These well-established programs typically come with funding and offer lots of support to students. Some options are available in the Winter reading week meaning programs do not overlap with working in the Summer.
KGU Cross-Cultural College
The Cross-Cultural College is a collaborative education project. Participating members are Queen鈥檚 University, University of Toronto, Mount Allison University, King's College (Western), and Kwansei Gakuin University (KGU). The program aims to educate students to become world citizens and leaders. Leaders who can contribute to the growth and sustainability of a globalizing world with cross-cultural understanding and communication skills.
The program features two core courses that include problem-solving activities related to business. There is an emphasis on teamwork which provides opportunities to develop international networks. The courses also nurture young people to become world citizens and leaders.
