In accordance with Article 41.7 of the Collective Agreement for Faculty, Librarians, and Archivists between Queen’s University and Queen’s University Faculty Association a selection committee has been established to make a recommendation to the Provost and Vice-Principal (Academic) of Queen’s University on the future leadership of Reference and Information Services at Queen’s University Library. 

The head selection committee is comprised of:

• Jessica Beardsley, Reserves Coordinator
• Graeme Campbell, Open Government Librarian
• Michele Chittenden, Research & Instruction Librarian and Library Accessibility Services Coordinator
• Meaghan Shannon, Copyright Librarian
• Michael White, Head Engineering and Science Librarian
• Mark Asberg , Vice Provost and University Librarian (Chair) 

Members of the university community are invited to submit nominations for the headship and to submit written comments on the present state and future prospects of the Library department to the attention of Rachael MacDermid by emailing library.hr@queensu.ca by Aug. 28, 2024.
