Queen's Hospitality Services has consulted with Hillel Ontario to ensure all appropriate considerations are made to best support students on the residence meal plan during Passover.
Students on a residence meal plan who are observing Passover should ensure they have completed a identifying keeping Kosher and/or observing Passover to ensure they receive communications from the Registered Dietitian about available supports during the observance. Students are encouraged to with the Registered Dietitian in advance to discuss any dietary accommodations that may be required.
Disposable plates/cutlery may be provided in the dining halls, by request. In the first two days and last two days of Passover, students refraining from the use of technology may hold up their cards as an alternative to manual swipe for access.
