Mourning the loss of Professor Emeritus Daniel David Moses
The Queen鈥檚 community is mourning the loss of Indigenous playwright and Professor Emeritus Daniel David Moses. Daniel passed away on Monday, July 13th 2020.
Daniel was Delaware from Six Nations of the Grand River where he was born. He will be remembered as a talented playwright, poet and cherished faculty member of Queen鈥檚 University. Daniel was appointed as a Queen鈥檚 National Scholar in 2003 in the Department of Drama and in 2016, he was inducted as a Fellow to the Royal Society of Canada. Notable plays, poetry and works include 鈥淭he Indian Medicine Show鈥, 鈥淎lmighty Voice and His Wife鈥, 鈥淧ursued by a Bear: Talks, Monologues and Tales鈥 and 鈥淒elicate Bodies鈥.
