As a Queen鈥檚 Science student, you will:

 A Glimpse into First Year

Your first-year experience will be completely unique to you. You will have the opportunity to pick your own classes, join clubs, participate in sports, meet new people, and figure out what you want to study the rest of your time at Queen鈥檚.  

  • Choose five courses per term that really interest you, where you can explore and narrow down your passions  
  • Attend Majors Night during the Winter term to explore the 30+ programs in Arts and Science to help you select you major by the end of first year  
  • Explore majors in the traditional fields - Biology, Chemistry, and Physics 鈥 and majors in fields you may never have thought of, such as Biomedical Computing or Earth System Science. 
  • Pick from over 1,100 student volunteer and leadership positions, and roughly 300 student-run clubs to get involved in the Queen鈥檚 community 
  • Be part of a community of people who are intelligent, critical thinkers, who are passionate about learning and expanding their horizons
