Role of a Queen's United Way Champion

• Increase awareness in the department/faculty of the need and impact
   
• Attend virtual Champions orientation/education session
   
• Share Impact of employee donations
  • Add images impact cards to emails
  • Information sharing
  • Ask your colleagues if they received the link to donate once campaign has launched; do they have any questions
     
• Invite a United Way speaker to a department meeting.
  • These speakers come from diverse areas of service to speak about topics that best relate to your department/area.
     
• Support the community through United Way donation drives if this appeals to the department
  • In-kind drives optional: food, mitts, socks, personal hygiene products, school supplies
