成人大片 is a member of and collaborates and partners with several local and global NGOs on climate adaptation, including those that offer outreach and education programs for our community. This allows us to amplify both our learning and our impact to advance sustainability and the SDGs.

Queen鈥檚 University joined the  in 2019, a group of leading North American research institutions united in a collaborative effort to accelerate local action against climate change.

Together, UC3 members leverage their institutional strengths to foster cross-sector partnerships and knowledge sharing aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions and nurturing community resilience.

AASHE

AASHE champions the advancement of sustainability in higher education, serving a full range of higher education faculty, administrators, staff and students who are change agents and drivers of sustainability innovation. Established in 2005, AASHE is comprised of over 900 members. 

Queen's is an association member, providing everyone with an @queensu.ca email address access to member-only resources.

The Council of the Great Lakes Region provides a binational, multi-sector forum for exchange and collaboration on the region鈥檚 key risks and opportunities. Beginning with conversations about the Region鈥檚 most critical issues, the Council encourages those with common interests to drive commitment and action through dialogue groups, research, advocacy, and programs.


University Global Coalition Logo

Queen's joined the University Global Coalition (UGC) in 2022. UGC is a global platform of universities and higher education institutions committed to advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals both locally and globally through teaching, research, operations, and partnerships. Though UGC hosts an annual virtual gathering and coordinates several flagship events throughout the year, the Coalition's primary role is to help institutions connect and share resources on addressing the global goals.

Sustainable Development Solutions Network

The mission of the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) is to "promote integrated approaches to implement the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Paris Agreement on Climate Change, through education, research, policy analysis, and global cooperation."

SDSN Canada鈥檚 mission is to mobilize Canadian scientific and technological expertise to facilitate learning and accelerate problem solving for the UN鈥檚 Agenda 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

To these ends, SDSN Canada mobilizes support throughout the country for the SDGs, promotes practical Solutions Initiatives and long-term pathways for sustainable development, promotes high-quality education and research collaboration, and supports governments in understanding and addressing the challenges of sustainable development.

Matariki Network of Universities 

Queen's is a founding member of the Matariki Network of Universities.

We are one of seven high-ranking research intensive universities around the world comprising the network, which focuses on research (including Sustainability, Environment & Resources), education and collaboration. The network nurtures opportunities for multilateral cooperation in research and education for staff and students.
