On January 31, 2023 at approximately 6:10 p.m. Kingston Police attended the Queen鈥檚 Centre at Queen鈥檚 University in response to a complaint of the male accused being found by Campus Security and Emergency Services lying down on the floor inside one of the woman鈥檚 bathrooms. Police, upon arrival, issued a provincial offences notice under the Trespass to Property Act to the accused and escorted him from the property.

At approximately 6:50 p.m. on this same date, the accused returned to the Queen鈥檚 Centre and proceeded to touch two female victims in an inappropriate sexual manner. A short time later the accused attended Stauffer Library and entered a woman鈥檚 bathroom where he proceeded to touch another victim inappropriately from under an adjoining bathroom stall.

Campus security located the accused in the women's washroom in Stauffer Library and brought Kingston Police to him. The accused was found sitting in a bathroom stall inside the woman鈥檚 bathroom.

The accused was arrested and a search subsequent to his arrest revealed that he was in possession of a small baggie containing a substance suspected of being cocaine. The accused was transported to police headquarters where he was held to attend a bail hearing the following day. The accused was then remanded into custody on February 1, 2023.

Dustin LINDSAY, a 21-year-old local man, who had no affiliation to Queen鈥檚 University, was charged with three counts of sexual assault, unlawfully possessing a Schedule 1 substance, and two counts of breach of probation.
