You have an offer; Now what?
Before coming to Queen's, there are some important details to remember. To help you get here smoothly, we have created a useful guide.
Make sure to go through the Expanded Queen's Commitment Package so you know all the benefits of accepting your offer to Queen's!
Review the Expanded Queen's Commitment Package and accept your offer to Queen's
- Accept your offer by the acceptance deadline on OUAC (or in your SOLUS Student Centre if you are a CommonApp applicant).
- Pay the non-refundable $2500 CDN deposit by the acceptance deadline in your SOLUS Student Centre. Make sure to save your receipt showing payment. You will need it for Step 3.
- Completing this form will help determine if you require a Provincial Attestation Letter or only a Letter of Acceptance for Study Permit Purposes. You must upload a receipt showing the $2500 CDN deposit payment to allow Queen’s to request your Provincial Attestation Letter and to release your Letter of Acceptance.
Queen's has partnered with BorderPass to provide you with individual immigration and Study Permit application support at no cost!
BorderPass is an immigration support service offered at no cost as part of the Queen’s Commitment Package. This service can help make your immigration process as smooth as possible—not just for your first year but throughout your stay in Canada.
BorderPass provides:
- Support to ensure you have all the support you need.
- Access to Canadian immigration lawyers who can answer your questions.
- Guidance, building and review of visa applications by Canadian immigration lawyers.
- Notifying key dates to apply for visa extensions, work permits and residency visas.

Apply to Queen’s Residence and pay the $525 deposit by June 2, 2025, at 4 p.m. ET
Living in residence during your first year provides a supportive community environment for you to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Living on campus helps you to meet new people, participate in organized activities, and ease your transition to university life.
If you require accommodation to live in Residence, submit a Health Accommodation Form by June 2, 2025, at 4 p.m. ET.
