Dr. Karen Dubinsky has been selected to speak at the 40th Annual Archives Lecture hosted by the Queen's Archives and Queen's Library on Thursday, October 20th, 2022. The lecture is titled "An Artistic Chronicle of Havana in the 1960s: Cuban-Canadian Harry Tanner", and will be held in Joseph S. Stauffer Library at 4PM with a reception to follow. Karen Dubinsky teaches in the departments of Global Development Studies and History. She has published and edited books on a wide variety of topics. She has co-edited two recent anthologies about Canada and the world (Within and Without the Nation: Transnational Canadian History and Canada and the Third World: Overlapping Histories). Her most recent book is Cuba Beyond the Beach: Stories of Life in Havana.
