Nancy E. van Deusen wins the Antonine Tibesar Prize

Nancy E. van Deusen has won the Antonine Tibesar Prize (Conference on Latin American History) for her article, "Why Indigenous Slavery Continued in Spanish America after the New Laws of 1542," The Americas, 80:3 (July 2023), 395-432.

Congratulations to our Fall 2024 History Graduates

The Department of History hosted a convocation reception on November 12th for our students who graduated earlier that morning. With over 30 students, family members, friends, and faculty in attendance, guests enjoyed cake and refreshments to celebrate this exciting academic milestone.
