HIST 212 students create virtual exhibition: "A Primer for the Use of the Mohawk Children"

This week, the W.D. Jordan Rare Books and Special Collections Library launched a virtual exhibit that was researched and written by Queen's History students, Camille Prevost and Sam Russell, as a part of their projects for HIST 212: Experiential Learning in Historical Practice.

"This Exhibit, titled A Primer for the Use of the Mohawk Childrenis designed to showcase an important primary resource for understanding the complex relationship between the the Kanyen'kehaka (Mohawk) people and British colonists in the late 18th century. Analyzing the Primer through a lens that is respectful of multiple historical truths, this exhibit aims to present a balanced and textual approach to examining history."
