Fall Convocation continues with second honorary degree

The second honorary degree of Fall Convocation was conferred upon poet and novelist m. nourbeSe Philip during Wednesday afternoon鈥檚 ceremony at Grant Hall.

The day featured many graduates from the Faculty of Education鈥檚 teacher education program, including the Indigenous Teacher Education Program (ITEP), as well as graduates from the Faculty of Arts and Science and the School of Graduate Studies and Postdoctoral Affairs.

Ceremonies continue Thursday and Friday.

Throughout Fall Convocation, the celebration of graduating students takes place online as well. Queen鈥檚 will be using #QueensUgrad2023 across social media platforms (, , ) and encourages others to do the same. Queen鈥檚 will also share photos of the ceremonies on the university鈥檚 social media channels over the week.
