Celebrating Queen鈥檚 newest graduates

Fall Convocation at Queen鈥檚 kicked off on Monday, Nov. 13 with the first of eight ceremonies being held at Grant Hall.

Graduates crossed the stage in two more ceremonies on Tuesday, with an honorary degree being conferred upon Suzanne Fortier, the former president of McGill University. Dr. Fortier started her academic career at Queen鈥檚, serving as a professor and administrator during her 25 years here at the university.

Ceremonies will continue throughout the week.

Social media celebrations

Throughout Fall Convocation, the celebration of graduating students takes place online as well. Queen鈥檚 will be using #QueensUgrad2023 across social media platforms and encourages others to do the same. Queen鈥檚 will also share photos of the ceremonies on the university鈥檚 social media channels over the week.
