Melissa (she/her) takes the lead on Fall Orientation and the First-Year Off-Campus Community (First-Year OCC) program and other transition projects throughout the academic year. Melissa enjoys photography, traveling, and spending time with her nephews!

Danny (they/them) oversees leadership training opportunities for students, including the Gender-Based Violence Bystander Intervention Program (in partnership with the Human Rights and Equity Office) and the Empowered to Lead Program. In their spare time, Danny loves recommending and getting recommendations for books and playing video games.

Gabriela coordinates QSuccess, Peer Mentoring, and the MentorHUB. She has been a formal and informal mentor throughout her life and supporting others to find their strengths is a grounding and rewarding experience for her. She has a curious nature and likes trying new things all the time, whether it鈥檚 a new recipe, a new book, a new idea or a new place to travel.

Hanna (she/her) takes the lead on SOAR (Summer Orientation to Academics and Resources), as well as other engagement events throughout the academic year. These help students connect with each other and to resources and supports on campus. Outside of the SEO and when not traveling, she enjoys spending most of her time (and money) on her horse.

Deandra (she/her) is the Student Success Advisor dedicated to serving the Promise & Commitment Scholars and first-generation students at Queen鈥檚 University. She is passionate about empowering young people to excel and thrive in their personal and professional endeavors. She鈥檚 an avid musician and outdoor enthusiast, and in her free time she loves writing/performing music, traveling and spending time with her family.

Taryn (she/her) oversees the Queen's Shift Project, a collection of initiatives aimed at centering equity-deserving student experiences and contributing to a safer and more inclusive campus culture. In her free time, you can find her coaching soccer, camping, or playing music around Kingston. She loves connecting with students and learning about their Queen's experience. Feel free to reach out!

Taylor MacPherson (on leave)

Coordinator, Student Leadership & Development

Taylor (she/her) is the point of contact in the office for student leadership and development-related initiatives. She oversees the Leadership Workshop Series, as well as the following three programs, which are in partnership with the Human Rights and Equity Office: the Gender-Based Violence Bystander Intervention Program, the Lead Include Transform (LIT) program, and the Action, Commitment, Transformation (ACT) certificate program. In her free time, Taylor can be found thrifting, hiking, gardening, and discussing social justice literature.

Zo毛 (she/her) is the Lead, Include, Transform (LIT) Student Lead, which entails organizing and overseeing the equity and oppression training program that focuses on positionality, intersectionality, privilege, and oppression to foster an equitable and educational environment for the Queen's community. She is in her fourth year as a Psychology major with a Sociology minor, and when she's not working, she loves to read, and spend time in nature, including hiking and swimming.

Meadow Donnelly-Gilman

Meadow (she/her) is the Gender-Based Violence Education, Training and Development Student Lead and oversees numerous facilitators who instruct relevant workshops relating to bystander intervention, healthy relationships, consent culture, and sexual violence on campus. In her free time, Meadow is an avid reader. She also likes to sing and play piano, writes short stories and can often be found at the ARC playing volleyball.

Kyla's (she/her) role as Community Organizer for Social Justice is to support the development of and student engagement in programs and initiatives that seek to enhance opportunities for Commitment Scholars and equity-deserving students at Queen's. Kyla aims to foster meaningful connections among passionate individuals, including peers, alumni, faculty and staff who are invested in social justice work. Kyla is pursuing a degree in Life Sciences and enjoys dancing and playing intramural sports in her free time.

Jonah (He/Him) is the Transition & Engagement Student Lead at the Student Experience Office. His projects include hosting summer webinars, the Students Meets Students virtual socials, and managing content on Raftr.  Jonah is a Concurrent Education student here at Queen's, and is entering the final year of his BEd, having recently completed his BScH in Chemistry. More personally, he is an avid dancer, LOVES a good iced coffee and is beyond excited to welcome the class of 2028 to Queen鈥檚!

Mae (she/her) is the Off-Campus Student Lead for the Student Experience Office, where she oversees programming and resources for the Off-Campus Community. This program is dedicated to supporting incoming first year students living in Kingston and beyond. Mae manages a range of initiatives including the Off-Campus Community orientation, webinars, resource accessibility, and various events and support systems throughout the academic year. A passionate Linguistics and Employment Relations student at Queens University, Mae is dedicated to the importance of leadership and DEI work. When she's not busy with work or school, you can find her indulging in her love for baking or diving into a good book

Her role impacts all areas of the student experience through the creation and management of websites and social media content. Alice is in her fourth year in the Film & Media department here at Queen鈥檚. In her free time, she can be found editing videos, watching films, or trying a new drink at CoGro!

Julianna (she/her) is the Gender-Based Violence Education, Outreach & Operations Student Lead and ensures the program facilitators are well equipped to deliver a variety of educational workshops to students and staff on campus. These workshops include bystander intervention, healthy relationships, consent culture and responding to disclosures, all of which reflect her passion for building a safer campus culture. Julianna is a fourth-year psychology and sociology student who enjoys being in nature and spending time with family. She hopes to be a mentor through her work at the SEO and a source of support for those who need it.

Revathi (She/her) is the Development Programs Student Lead at the Student Experience Office, where she supports the Leadership Workshop Series Program. Supporting this program entails delivering requested and open workshops on campus, organizing the semesterly Leadership Summit, and supporting other initiatives like the Club Hub, Leadership Library and more. Revathi is entering her 4th year of the Health Sciences program. In her free time, she loves to read, and spend time in the kitchen cooking new recipes and baking treats for her friends!

Massimo (he/him) is the Mentorship Programs Student Lead at the Student Experience Office, supporting the QSuccess First-Year and Upper Year Peer Mentor Programs. His projects include Mentor and Mentee recruitment, organizing and facilitating Mentor training sessions, updating and developing the MentorCity online training platform, providing ongoing Mentor and Mentee support, and more. Massimo is a Concurrent Education student with teachables in History and Drama, entering the final year of his BEd this year. When he鈥檚 not working, he enjoys listening to music, trying on new outfits, and performing in musical theatre productions.

Shift Project Student Lead is to support the development, planning, promotion and delivery of initiatives. These initiatives, driven by results from the Queen鈥檚 Shift Survey, aim to foster a healthy, safe, inclusive environment for all students, with a focus on equity deserving student groups. Cameron is pursuing her degree in Life Science, and enjoys reading, rock climbing, and baking in her free time.
