Dr. Sytsma (co-principal investigator) and colleagues from Northeastern University and The University of Tampa have been awarded $862,804 USD (over $1.1 million CAD) from the U.S. National Institute of Justice Research and Evaluation on Policing, Practices, Accountability Mechanisms, and Alternatives program for their project titled, Exploring Officer Patrol Behaviors Using Automated Vehicle Locator and Body-Worn Camera Data in Kansas City, Missouri.
