The 6th Annual Queen's Northern Research Symposium organized by the Department of Geography and Planning took place on April 12th in the BioSciences Building.  The event brought together students, postdoctoral fellows, research associates and faculty for a day of presentations, open dialogue and networking.

Our own Postdoctoral Fellow, Dr. Valerie Michaelson, was invited to be one of three keynote speakers at the 2018 event.  Dr. Sharday Mosurinjohn also participated, presenting jointly with undergraduate student, Nick. Harrison, on Kent Monkman's artistic works recently on display at the Agnes Etherington Art Gallery.
