In this workshop, aligned with SDG 8 - Decent Work and Economic Growth, you will learn how to use key strategies to highlight your unique skills, knowledge, and experience on your resume or CV. To get the most benefit from this workshop, it is helpful to bring a copy of your resume. If you have a specific opportunity you are applying to, bringing the role description can also be helpful.
By the end of the workshop, you will:
- Identify the difference between resumes and CVs.
- Recognize the different sections of a resume.
- Understand the value of tailoring resumes to different positions.
- Translate your knowledge, experience, skills, and attributes into action-oriented statements.
- Understand how Automated Tracking Systems (ATS) are used to review resumes.
