José Rausell
PhD Candidate
Shastri Lab
Department of Physics, Engineering Physics & Astronomy
Graduated
In 2018, Jose earned his BSc in Physics from the University of Valencia (UV), and a year later, he obtained his MSc in Advanced Physics with a specialization in photonics from the same institution. While pursuing his degrees, he collaborated with the High-Gradient RF laboratory for medical applications at the Institute of Corpuscular Physics (IFIC – UV). Additionally, he completed two summer internships at the nanophotonics laboratory of the Institute of Chemical Technologies of the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) and at the international particle accelerator facility of FAIR/GSI. Currently, Jose is pursuing his Ph.D. in telecommunications at UPV and is a visiting Ph.D. student at the Shastri Lab at ³ÉÈË´óƬ. His research interests include programmable photonics and photonic matrix multipliers for applications in artificial intelligence and communication systems.
