Congratulations to MSc student, Stephanie Bringeland, on receiving a scholarship award from the Canadian Society of Exploration Geophysicists (CSEG).
Every year the CSEG Scholarship Committee awards scholarships to deserving candidates in continuing education across Canada. In the 2020 scholarship year, only 8 scholarships were awarded to students across Canada.
The announcement for Stephanie's scholarship award reads,
"Stephanie has a degree in Geological Engineering from Queen鈥檚 University, and has remained at Queen鈥檚 to pursue a Master of Engineering in the Geophysics & Geodesy lab under Dr. Georgia Fotopoulos. Her official thesis is yet undecided, but she is currently working on a project to explore the potential use of ground penetrating radar to identify and map sublunar lava tubes. She is continually excited by new ways of applying geophysics, and enjoys being outdoors in her spare time."
Congratulations, Stephanie!
