Building a supportive community for international employees

Queen鈥檚 staff and faculty who identify as international employees or newcomers to Canada are invited to enjoy food, musical entertainment, and networking at the University Club on June 15 from 3:30-5:30 pm.
The celebratory gathering, called Queen鈥檚 Global Connect, is intended as a steppingstone towards establishing and resourcing a new Employee Resource Group (ERG) aimed at building community and supports for international employees, expanding professional development and networks, and nurturing a welcoming and responsive campus culture.
This effort aligns with the university鈥檚 commitment to promoting equity, diversity, accessibility, and inclusion, and advances efforts outlined in the newly released Global Engagement Strategic Plan 2023-2028.
