Queen鈥檚 University鈥檚 Board of Trustees recently approved the Improper Acts Reporting Policy.
The policy enables all members of the university community to report what they believe to be an Improper Act for review and possible investigation, without concerns of reprisal. Improper acts include the contravention of university policies or regulations, relevant local, provincial, or federal laws, creating a danger to the life, health, or safety of persons or to the environment, and more.
The university seeks to promote a culture of honesty, transparency, and accountability, maintaining high ethical standards in all its activities. The good faith reporting of alleged improper acts is a necessary and valuable service to the university.
