Mofi Badmos is the first international student experience associate for the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science.

鈥淚 feel like it鈥檚 very progressive of the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science to provide this unique position dedicated to international students,鈥 says Badmos. 鈥淲ith my lived experience as a former international student, I look forward to providing valuable support to the students and the faculty.鈥

For now, though, Badmos encourages students to connect with her by email or to visit her in student services in Beamish-Munro Hall Rm. 300.

鈥淭here鈥檚 never too much support, and I鈥檓 here to support,鈥 says Badmos. 鈥淚f students are just looking for someone they can talk to, someone who can help answer questions, someone to make them feel comfortable on campus, a friend in the community, that鈥檚 what I鈥檓 here for. I鈥檓 hoping to create a sense of community for international engineering students within the faculty.鈥

Badmos previously worked at the as an International Programs Assistant. She holds a Bachelor鈥檚 in Forensic Psychology and a Master鈥檚 in Immigration and Settlement Studies.
