A delegation from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (GDUFS) visited Queen鈥檚 University on Tuesday, to meet with their Queen鈥檚 counterparts.

Queen's In the World

The delegation, headed by President Zhong Weihe, met with representatives of the Faculty of Education and the Faculty of Arts and Science to explore areas of cooperation between Queen鈥檚 and GDUFS, including research collaboration and student and faculty mobility.

Currently, the university, located in southern China, has a Memorandum of Understanding and Graduate Student Exchange Agreement with the Faculty of Education.

The delegation also toured Queen鈥檚 campus as well as the Isabel Bader Centre for the Performing Arts.

Queen鈥檚 launched its in August 2015 to support its internationalization efforts. The plan鈥檚 goals include strengthening Queen鈥檚 international research engagement and creating more opportunities for student mobility through programs like academic exchange programs. The plan also aims to attract high-quality international students to Queen鈥檚 and to increase international educational opportunities on the Queen鈥檚 campus.
