Senior university administrators helped serve up a feast at the annual Queen鈥檚 Summer Barbecue held in recognition of staff and faculty. Hundreds of guests flocked to Grant Hall on June 14 to enjoy great food, socialize, and to celebrate the past year鈥檚 achievements.

This year鈥檚 barbecue marked Daniel Woolf鈥檚 last as Queen鈥檚 Principal and Vice-Chancellor and he used the time to connect with friend and colleagues before June 30, 2019, when he leaves the role after 10 years of service.

鈥淚t has been a distinct privilege and honour to serve as Queen鈥檚 Principal for the past ten years and it would not have been possible without you,鈥 he wrote in a year-end message to Queen鈥檚 employees ahead of the festivities. 鈥淚 wish you all a wonderful summer and hope you enjoy some time with family and friends partaking in your favourite warm weather activities.鈥

Barbecue guests also brought along non-perishable food items for donation to the 鈥 a reliable and confidential food service that aims to support Queen鈥檚 community members.
