The latest catalogue from McGill-Queen’s University Press (MQUP) is now available online, boasting new offerings in history, public policy, philosophy, culture, and beyond.

“The spring catalogue reaffirms the breadth and depth of McGill-Queen’s University Press’ scholarly publishing,” says Alan Harrison, Provost and Vice-Principal (Academic). “The publications have the potential to spark important academic and cultural discussions and serve as important resources within their respective scholarly fields.”

A joint venture of McGill University and Queen’s University, MQUP strives to advance scholarship, promote public debate, and contribute to culture. MQUP, with over 2,500 books in print, is a specialist in the Canadian perspective and a publisher of international themes.

This season’s featured titles include Ron William’s Landscape Architecture in Canada, a richly illustrated book that profiles the projects and people that shaped the country’s physical features, and R.T. Naylor’s Counterfeit Crime: Criminal Profits, Terror Dollars, and Nonsense, a dissection of the economic, social and political costs of the wars on crime and terror.

Ancient Pathways, Ancestral Knowledge: Ethnobotany and Ecological Wisdom of Indigenous Peoples of Northwestern North America by Nancy J. Turner is a two-volume collection that draws on her extensive research into Indigenous peoples’ knowledge of plants and environments.
