Chef Michael Smith, creator of The Canadian Grilling Company, visited Queen’s Wednesday for the Taste of Home event and to sign his book Back to Basics: 100 Simple Classic Recipes with a Twist. The events at Queen’s are an opportunity for Chef Smith to connect with students, staff and faculty. Eight Queen’s students were chosen to provide the lunch menu at the Ban Righ Dining Hall during his visit. Chef Smith selected the top recipe before attending a gala dinner in his honour.
