With federal and provincial governments negotiating health transfers and ways to address our ailing healthcare system, the topic of this talk is timely. Many in the Queen's and greater Kingston community will value an opportunity to hear Andr茅 share his expertise on this topic.

Join us in the Ellis Hall Auditorium (Queen鈥檚 campus), from 6 鈥 7:30 pm.

Jane Philpott, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, will be moderating the event.

This special lecture is part of the 鈥淢ichener Visitorship Series.鈥 The Michener Fund was started as a gift to Queen鈥檚, with a mandate to bring distinguished francophone Canadians to Queen鈥檚.

Andr茅 Picard was selected as this year鈥檚 speaker in recognition of the fact that he is a francophone who has made a career in English-language journalism and because it is important for journalists to have the opportunity to express their thoughts in an academic context.
