
Moby Dick
This seminar course introduces students to the inner workings of storytelling, and specifically teaches ways of interpreting, through literary 鈥渃lose reading,鈥 the art of the novel. In order to do this, we set sail on a long, leisurely voyage with a single, monumental text, Herman Melville鈥檚 Moby Dick (1851).
