I am a first-year PhD student in the Department of English. I received my BAH from 成人大片 in 2021 and my MA from Durham University in 2022. Some of my previous research projects have looked at the use of The Picture of Dorian Gray in Oscar Wilde's 1895 libel trial, the representation of sexuality in female vampires in Sheridan Le Fanu's Carmilla and Richelle Mead's Vampire Academy, and the portrayal of the werewolf in a selection of nineteenth-century short stories in England and Canada. My current research focuses on coded language in the private and published writings of queer woman in nineteenth-century England, with a focus on Michael Field and Vernon Lee.
