The Department of English extends warm congratulations to PhD students Nancy Mỹ Nghi La and April McInnes who were the recipient of Dean's Awards. April received the Dean's Award for Social Justice, and Nancy received the Dean's Award for Creativity and Community.
Alumni Dr. Rachel M. Friars, who just recently defended her doctoral dissertation, received the Dean's Teaching Fellow Award for her course, "Lesbian Literature 1922-2022."
