Biography

Kathleen Sellars teaches sculpture and time-based media in the BFA program. She also teaches collaborative courses with the other creative arts departments in the Faculty of Arts and Science and with Smith Engineering. Her recent work combines computer-based robotics, sculpture, graphics and animated video to examine current issues in medical research. Her work has been shown internationally in solo, collaborative and group exhibitions including "New Robiotics Research" at the Agnes Etherington Art Centre (2008); and "It's a Wonderful Life" at the Owen's Art Gallery, Sackville NB (2007).

Recent courses taught: Intermediate Fine Art I (Time-based Media), Intermediate Fine Art II (Sculpture), Introductory Fine Art II (Sculpture) and Contemporary Cultural Performance in Practice.
