This month in Lagos, Nigeria, Art History Professor Juliana Bevilacqua led a training session for museum professionals, sponsored by the International Council for Museums (ICOM), the Yemisi Shyllon Museum of Art, the Pan-Atlantic University, and ICOM Nigeria, with support of the National Museum of African American History and Culture, Smithsonian Institution. The training session brought together emerging curators and museum professionals from across West Africa, for advanced museum workshops led by local and international specialists.
