Tanis Rideout, Artsci'99, comes back to Queen's on November 13 to discuss her novel Above All Things in the second in a special author series organized by the Queen's Alumni Review.
Above All Things is a masterful meld of fact and fiction that recounts the haunting, unforgettable tale of the doomed love affair of Ruth and George Mallory and the latter's tragic 1924 death in the frozen slopes of the world's highest mountain peak. AGlobe and Mail review described the book as "an enthralling blend of historical fact and imaginative fiction."
The Alumni Review author series is hosted by writer and professor Carolyn Smart. These evening events offer fellow writers and book lovers the opportunity to hear writers discuss their craft, share parts of their latest works, and answer questions.
Join Tanis in the Red Room of Kingston Hall at Queen's on Tuesday, November 13 at 7:30 pm.
This event is free and open to all.
