The Variety Orchestra has been performing for the past seven years. Originally a saxophone choir, it has grown to include woodwinds, brass, strings, and percussion. Members are of all ages and experience levels and will be performing works by Mozart, Lin Manuel Miranda, James Swearingen, The Rolling Stones, and more.
The Guitar Circle is a newer group that has evolved from a ukulele quartet to a guitar, percussion, and ukulele choir. It is open to performers of all ages and experience levels. They will be performing pieces by Florence and the Machine, Chris Had铿乪ld, The Barenaked Ladies, Pete Townshend, Mumford & Sons, Tegan and Sara, and Peter Gabriel.
Audiences will be invited to participate by singing or body percussion for a small portion of the performance. Participation is optional and the audience will remain in their seats while they participate.
