DAN School Homecoming Showcase and Reception

The evening will begin with a Reception at 6:30 pm followed by the Homecoming Showcase concert at 7:30 pm.

The DAN School of Drama and Music is excited to welcome Music and Drama alumni for a Homecoming weekend of performances, memories, and reconnecting with classmates and professors. This is a very special Homecoming for us as we celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the first Bachelor of Music degree!

The DAN School Homecoming weekend will begin on Friday with a reception at the Isabel Bader Centre for the Performing Arts, followed by a Showcase concert featuring performances by many of the DAN School ensembles, video interviews of our alumni, and a sneak preview of the Fall Major Drama Production, 鈥淭he Last Night at the Cabaret Solitaire鈥 directed by Grahame Renyk. Saturday, the festivities will move to Theological Hall where visitors will be welcomed with interactive displays of costumes and photos from past productions as well as scenes from the upcoming Major. Sunday morning the DAN School will host a coffee in Harrison LeCaine Hall that will feature memorabilia from our Class of 1973!

Queen鈥檚 Music and Drama alumni have always distinguished themselves as innovators in their fields. As we develop and grow our many programs at the DAN School, like the new B.Mus for 2024-25, which allows student to choose a focus from Classic, Contemporary, and Sonic Arts, we are integrating Drama and Music in new ways so that we continue to graduate creative thinkers and performers and leaders who will carry the tradition on into a changing world.
