Captivating audiences and critics alike, the 鈥渂rilliant鈥 (The Sunday Times) and 鈥渢ruly exhilarating鈥 (The WholeNote) Cheng虏 Duo (pronounced Cheng Squared Duo) distinguishes itself with its uncompromising musical integrity, undeniable chemistry, and unparalleled communication with its listeners. The Chinese-Canadian brother-and-sister duo is formed by cellist Bryan Cheng, prizewinner of the 2022 Queen Elisabeth Competition, 2021 Concours de Gen猫ve, and the 2020 Bader & Overton Canadian Cello Competition, and pianist Silvie Cheng, 2022-23 musician-in residence of Cecilia Concerts in Halifax.
