We are proud to announce that Dr. Elizabeth Goodyear-Grant has been awarded the 2020 Faculty of Arts and Science Award for Excellence in Graduate Teaching. This annual award recognizes faculty members who have made outstanding contributions to promoting graduate student excellence. 

Dr. Goodyear-Grant’s staunch advocacy for her students extends outside the classroom as well, with many nominators recognizing her compassionate and generous character.

Dr. Goodyear-Grant is an Associate Professor specializing in Canadian Politics, and Gender and Politics. She was nominated for the award by 10 current and former graduate students who emphasized her unending support of them as people, as students, and as academics. 

Congratulations to Dr. Goodyear-Grant for such a well-deserved honour!
