If you are a business owner who鈥檚 interested in leveraging your power and privilege to champion equity for racialized women in business, this workshop is for you.
Join EDI speaker, trainer and author for a 90-minute, interactive session that鈥檚 designed to engage and equip non-racialized and white women-identifying business owners to uncover the power of allyship, empathy, and collective action to create a more equitable society for everyone.
Through real-life examples and actionable strategies, we will explore how everyday actions can break down barriers, open doors, and pave the way for true equality.
In her 2000 book Feminism is for Everybody: Passionate Politics, Bell Hooks emphasizes the necessity for white women to divest from white supremacy to foster genuine sisterhood with racialized Women. She further highlights the role of white women in perpetuating oppressive systems and the importance of dismantling these structures to truly support BIPOC women.
At the end of this workshop, you will understand why it is essential for all of us to work towards a more equitable society, and be equipped with the tools to get started.

With over 15 years of experience in the field of equity, diversity, and inclusion, is a sought-after speaker and trainer.
She holds a master鈥檚 degree in education specializing in Educational Leadership, and is the owner of Real Talk Solutions, a company dedicated to providing training in equity and diversity to inclusive leaders and organizations.
Passionate about creating communities of belonging, Ophelia is committed to partnering with inclusive leaders and organizations to foster equitable and inclusive work cultures and communities. Through her engaging keynote speeches, impactful training sessions, community-building initiatives, and media appearances, she actively promotes inclusion, diversity, equity, and access.
