The Department of Geography and Planning (GPPL) at Queen鈥檚 University invites applications from excellent junior scholars conducting research in Earth System Science (the traditional disciplines of Physical Geography, or environmental research, or the impact of human activity on the Earth System) for a two-year Robert Gilbert Post-Doctoral Fellowship appointment. 

The criteria for distinguishing between candidates are research excellence, the quality of the research proposal (max 1,000 words, crafted in consultation with a full-time faculty member in the Department), and the relevance of the research to that of full-time GPPL faculty. Applicants must be within three years of their PhD.  The salary of the postdoctoral fellowship is $60,000 per annum. 

Post Doctoral Fellows are governed by the Collective Agreement for Post Doctoral Fellows between PSAC Local 901 Unit 2 and 成人大片 .
