Geography and Planning鈥檚 Wai Yin (Wilson) Cheung has been awarded a top prize in this year鈥檚 Art of Research photo contest! Wilson鈥檚 time-lapse movie, Frozen in Time: Unveiling the Mysteries of Turner Glacier through Glaciological Research in Akshayuk Pass, was named winner in the 鈥淩esearch in Motion category of the competition.鈥 The video captures glaciological research on Turner Glacier in Akshayuk Pass, which involves studying the physical properties and behavior of the glacier, as well as the surrounding environment, to better understand the dynamics of this glacial system.
