Captivating audiences and critics alike, the 鈥渂rilliant鈥� (The Sunday Times) and 鈥渢ruly exhilarating鈥� (The WholeNote) Cheng虏 Duo (pronounced Cheng Squared Duo) distinguishes itself with its uncompromising musical integrity, undeniable chemistry, and unparalleled communication with its listeners. The Chinese-Canadian brother-and-sister duo is formed by cellist Bryan Cheng, prizewinner of the 2022 Queen Elisabeth Competition, 2021 Concours de Gen猫ve, and the 2020 Bader & Overton Canadian Cello Competition, and pianist Silvie Cheng, 2022-23 musician-in residence of Cecilia Concerts in Halifax.
